今天收到Ombudsman的回信了
1月1号寄出的投拆表格,1月5号寄到,今天收到他们回信。说是14天内会有工作人员和我联系。
下面是信的具体内容,都是些官方的声明和关于新法生效的提示。
The Fair wok Ombudsman has received your complaint regarding your employment with **************on 5 January 2011.Your complaint has been registered with this office.
A key function of the Fair work Ombudsman's role is to protect and enforce the rights of workers and employers under commonwealth workplace laws. When it receives a complaint,the Fair Work ombudsman may undertake that role in a variety of ways.
Fair work Inspectors are experienced in providing guidance to help parties address and resolve outstanding issues in a timely fashion. In doing so ,it is important to note in this preliminary stage the Fair Work Ombudsman has not formed a view about the merits of the complaint.
Next steps
To assist in the resolution of the issues raised on your complaint form,a fair work inspector will contact you within 14 days of the this letter to discuss the details of your complaint.
Important notice regarding termination
complaint(S) for unfair and/or unlawful dismissal must be dealt with by Fair work Australia.
Complaints for unfair or unlawful dismissal must be lodged with Fair Work Australia within 14 days of the termination. The Fair Work Ombudsman does not lodge complaints for unfair or unlawful dismissal with Fair Work Australia on your behalf. If you believe you may have a valid complaint for unfair or unlawful dismissal, or wish to find out more information, please contact Fair Work Australia on 1300 799 675 or www.fwa.gov.au .
From 1 January 2011 employees should be aware of changes to the national workplace relations system under the Fair Work ACT 2009. From this date, the national Employment standards(NES) and modern awards come into effect. The NES are a set of 10 minimum standards of employment, and apply to all employees in the national system, regardless of any industrial instrument or contract of employment.
In association with the NES , modern awards will make up a new safety net for employees. Modern awards will apply to employees based on particular industries or occupations. Employees should make sure they are aware of their rights and entitlements under the Fair Work Act 2009 by contacting the Fair Work Inforline on 131394,or visiting www.fairwork.gov.au.
