求高手帮忙多多指教，多谢啦！！

题目： Television is a very powerful medium of influnce over large populations. There are many positive aspects to television. For example, it is an educational tool. However, many people feel that it is doing irreparable harm.
Present an argument to highlight your opinion on this matter.

Television is quickly playing an important part in contemporary urban life. However, whether
we should spent much time sitting in front of the television constitutes a controversial
issue. Although I appreciate the entertainment and convenience television brings us, I do
not recommend individuals, especially youngsters to view much television.

Television does not have to be violent or offensive to have a negative effect. In the first
place, it result in alienation between family members. That is, people usually spent so much
time watching TV that they do not have enough opportunities to communicate with each other;
therefore, the family bonds are largely decreased. In the second place, it do harm to
children's mental development. Nowadays, there are excessive violent and pornographic
contents on the TV programs, which impart obvious psychological effects on spectators.
Most importantly, watching televisions constrains the versatile development of children.
Several studies have recorded that watching TV can extinguish creativity, lessen imagination
and decrease physical activity. In the case of young viewers, it is more harmful than
computers.

Some people argue that television has many advantages to our social development. The main
reason for this is that it can be a way of education. For instance, there are more and more
educational programs on TV, and it do bring many conveniences. However, the advantages of
viewing television will never outweigh the disadvantages.

In conclusion, televisions as modern media may have their own positive aspects, but the
negative effects of TV viewing continue to surpass the benefits.

The world's view on the impact of television on the modern life has become mixed. There are actually, a lot of negative views, criticizing that the television is "doing harm". Is that true?

Some people think there are too much garbage’s being produced on the television networks. One example is Jerry Springer Show, an infamous US live show which airs family fights in which Jerry plays "referee". Many others criticize the numerous fraud medicine ads claiming ridiculous non-existent effects. There are also journalists (many from paper media, interestingly) repeated emphasizing the hazard of "television addiction", blaming television for making people spent too much hours in their couches, ignoring family and social activities.

I however, do not agree all these are totally television's fault. All these claims are perfectly defendable. For example, domestic violence is brought into existence by TV shows. Neither are frauds - such crime has a history as long as that of human being. About addiction, I'd say any people without a life are destined to get addicted somewhere - whether it's TV or not is just irrelevant. Television visualizes bad things, not brings them into existence. Blaming television on those is just like blaming a mirror for one's sore on his face.

Television, in essence, is a form of medium that spread visual materials - nothing else. It was invented because people thought radio was just not good enough. Technology evolves. This trend does not stop. People pursue convenient, fast, hard-to-censor method to distribute information around the world all the time. Even television itself, is very likely to get succeeded by the rapid growing monster of Internet media, maybe within a couple of decades. There might be side effects accompanying the growth, which require efforts to mitigate and contain. But claiming a media technology to be as evil as a harm doer? I really don’t think it’s reasonable or creative.

其实观点究竟是什么应该无所谓的，关键在于你是否能清楚阐述、有力支持。这就和辩论是一样的，能自圆其说就行。关键还是考察的语言组织应用能力。
