iPhone-澳洲第一款真正的GPS

真正的GPS，也就是說有turn by turn voice guided GPS。在iTunes里面賣80澳幣。我試用了3天，感覺絕對超越200澳幣以內的GPS。
簡單介紹一下。是Sygic出的，使用的TeleAtlas地圖。
有幾大特別優的地方，
1.對澳洲道路非常熟悉。連是3條道還是4條道都知道
2.提供道路sign的信息。例如前方有dip的sign。你不用看路，sygic就會指示你。
3.找星速度非常快，室外5秒以內100%找到
4.語音導航非常清楚，音量也夠大。
5.語音導航支援中文，不過界面不支援中文
6.運行gps時有電話接入，不會退出gps,只是pause而已，電話接完可以resume回去。
7.能夠顯示當地的限速，而且相當準確。
值得改進的地方也不少
1.界面不夠friendly.感覺是從PC平臺上直接抓來的。不似mac的風格。
2.如果同時開ipod和gps，只要gps開始語音導航，音樂就停止，而且是不會resume。
3.POI還不夠多。

I got one question:

Is it necessary to plug in the adapter (dock station) when u run the gps app?
(in other words, is the GPS hardware module built-in in iPhone already?)

Don't know if i jail-break and upgrade my iPhone 2G to version 3 software, will the GPS app still working in a 2G gadget?

1. iphone has inbuild gps module
2. i dont JB, but im sure the app will work on jailbroken phones.
3. according to developer's description on itunes, its only compatible to 3.0 or later versions. mine's 3.0, works flawlessly.

my next busy task will be jailbreaking to 3.0 (it saves me some petty cash 4 me to transit to new iPhone)

用的时候流量估计也不小吧

謝謝提醒啊。呵呵。忘了介紹了。這點蠻重要的。內建地圖。不消耗任何網絡資源。
一起等tomtom吧。看了preview。tomtom更厲害。
