(1) A person who for financial gain, or in the course of any trade or business, teaches another person to drive a motor vehicle of a kind described in section 33(3) on a highway-
(a) without holding a driving instructor authority or
(b) in breach of any condition of such an authority - is guilty of an offence.
8 penalty units
(2) It is a defence to a charge under sub-section(1) for the person charged to prove that the person being taught to drive held a driver license at the time of being taught.
as my understanding, if you sit beside the L driver (instruct or whatever) and want to charge money, you must have supervisor or teaching license. or its illegal.
if you just help your friends without any capital gaining, that's OK.
